Powerflushing Heating Systems

A power flush is a procedure performed by central heating engineers aimed at eliminating sludge accumulation within the heat pump, pipes, and radiators of your central heating system.

This process utilises a power flushing machine that forces water with an added chemical cleaner through the system at high speeds to dislodge sludge, rust, and other debris.

By doing so, it enhances the efficiency and longevity of the boiler and central heating system while also helping to prevent breakdowns. Like many plumbing issues, regular maintenance—including power flushing—is the most effective way to keep your system operating optimally.

Signs that your system needs a power flush include reduced heat output from radiators, unusual noises from the heating system, cold spots on radiators, and frequent system breakdowns. If you notice any of these symptoms, it may indicate the presence of sludge or debris in your central heating system that requires attention.

Egensys can now offer a Powerflushing service at the below rates, subject to Survey, prices include VAT.

Powerflush for a property with up to 10 radiators or 5 radiators and 1 UFH Manifold or No Radiators and 2 UFH Manifolds - £540
